You may have watched your favourite sport and held your breath hoping Australia or your country of origin would win a gold medal.Not individual efforts
There were individual and team sports but both had a support crew of professionals, family and friends. We watched them run their races.In Hebrews 12:1 Paul tells us to run with perseverance the race marked out for us.
Our event is called life.
Our race is different from the Olympics. We are not competing against each other but we are on the same team, showing love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control to all people, but especially to those who belong to the family of believers.
Let’s unite together into a cohesive team, fixing our eyes on Jesus, encouraging each other – cheering for each other.
